This page says what we have done, what we know is still wrong, and how to get an answer out of us if a page on this site is stopping you from getting information you need.
The standard we are working to
WCAG 2.1 level AA, as a target rather than a claim.
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA. We are not claiming full conformance, because we have not had this site independently audited. Anybody who tells you a plugin makes a website ADA compliant is selling you something. What follows is the honest position.
- A preferences panel, bottom left of every page. Larger text in three steps, a high contrast mode, underlined links, a more readable typeface and an option to stop animation. Your choices are stored on your own device and nowhere else.
- A skip link. Press Tab on any page and the first thing you get is a link straight to the main content, past the navigation.
- Keyboard operation. Every control we built can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and shows a visible focus outline when it is.
- Semantic structure. Real headings in order, real lists, real buttons and links rather than styled boxes.
- Text alternatives on images that carry information.
What is still wrong
The known problems, written down rather than hidden.
- The 3D neighborhood flyover on the home page is a map. It is not usable without sight, and the keyboard experience is poor. Every area it covers has its own page with the same information in text, reachable from the navigation, and those pages are the accessible route.
- The property search opens in a third-party MLS portal that we do not build or control. If it does not work for you, call the office and we will run the search and read you the results.
- The chat assistant is a third-party widget. Same offer: call instead and you get a person.
- Older blog posts may have images with weak or missing alternative text. We are working through them.
- Some third-party embeds, including video, carry their own player controls that we cannot modify.

Tell us, and in the meantime we will just give you the information.
If any page on this site is stopping you from getting to something you need, call the office. You do not have to explain why, and you do not have to wait for us to fix the page. We will give you the information over the phone, and then we will go and fix the page.
